Thirty Years of Innovation

London, ON and Shakopee, MN– December 4, 2017 – ZTR Control Systems is proud to be celebrating its 30^th Anniversary.

In the mid-1980s five coworkers suggested an idea for a new product that was ultimately rejected by the company they worked for at the time. Fuelled with determination and armed with innovation, this group founded ZTR Control Systems in 1987.

This is the second year the company has been given this prestigious honor.

This slick compilation of some of the city’s most prestigious businesses and associations was organized through the London Chamber of Commerce.

It is with great pride that ZTR Control Systems announces it has been chosen as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies in 2015 for excellence in business performance.

1. How long have you worked in the rail business and what positions have you held?

I have been in the rail business for almost 23 years and was fortunate to experience a variety of roles – from technical support, customer service, installations and locomotive troubleshooting to product development, application and management. I spent countless days on board locomotives in many parts of the world and was fortunate to experience the life of many locomotive crews and enjoy their scenery; the view is breathtaking!

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - ZTR Control Systems’ products are in use in Africa, Australia, Europe, and all of the Americas. This growing demand for ZTR products means an increasing demand for qualified personnel.
